Lavanya Tripathi is an Indian actress and model who works primarily in the South Indian film industry. She made her big-screen debut in the Telugu film Andala Rakshasi, and she has also appeared in Hindi serials such as Ssshhhh...Koi Hai and Pyaar Ka Bandhan.
Lavanya was born in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, to a lawyer father and a retired teacher mother. She grew up in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, where she attended Marshalls School. She went to Mumbai after finishing high school and graduated from Rishi Dayaram National College with a degree in Economics. Lavanya began modeling and appeared in advertising in Mumbai. In 2006, she also won the title of Miss Uttarakhand.
Soggade Chinni Nayana, Srirastu Subhamastu, and Lacchimdeviki O Lekkundi were the actress's three Telugu films in 2016. While the first two films had generally excellent reviews from critics, the third earned mixed reviews and performed poorly at the box office. Mister, a Telugu film directed by Srinu Vaitla, was one of her 2017 releases. She made her acting debut in Antariksham 9000KMPH in 2018 and Arjun Suravaram in 2019. Chaavu Kaburu Challaga and A1 Express, a sports drama directed by Dennis Jeevan Kanukolanu, will be released in 2021.
